gap easy jeans review

Shopping for jeans when you’re tall can often make you feel like you’re—to borrow a phrase from another 5-foot-11 femme, Taylor Swift—“too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city,” as you grapple with hemlines a few inches too high and try to compensate with pants a few sizes too large. (If they fit lower on your hips, the cuffs will get closer to the ground, right? Too bad it gives you a major case of dump butt.)

That’s why, when I find a pair I love, I order them in every wash, and I basically live in them until they start fraying off my body. Enter: Gap Easy Jeans. As the name implies, they’re a cinch to slip on and off, thanks to their looser fit and drawstring waist. And they’re a rare pair of non-stretchy jeans that’s truly comfortable, no matter how you’re sitting (no buttons digging into your stomach!).

Here's why I’m a convert.
