Below, you'll find my experts’ fall 2025 trend predictions—and suggestions for pieces that capture the season.
- Heritage style: "There are two versions of heritage style—there’s English countryside going on, which involves plaids, long skirts, wellies and a Barbour jacket. And [then] there’s the more American version, which is old school prep and old money," says Berlin. This was seen earlier on the Miu Miu runway, with polos, knits, pleated skirts and tailored pieces at the forefront. It's all very demure and very sporty luxury.
- Bohemian: "There is a big return of boho for fall 2025, thanks to Chloe's stunning runway show for kicking off this trend once again. Crochet, long and breezy chiffon and lots of suede will dominate," says Brown. It's more of a sophisticated bohemian vibe this go around, though, one that feels very elevated but still has that free spirited vibe.
- Greens: Continuing from the summer, everything is green this season, but think more muted tones like pea green and olive green. "We went from Brat green this summer and now it’s going to be more of a demure green," says Teich.
- Leather: If you haven't already found your go-to leather jacket, now might be the time to invest in one of these timeless pieces, especially one with a faux fur or sheepskin twist (which you can find on my list above!).
