Your RSVP has been sent for your friend’s big day and you can’t wait for her to see the beautiful wedding gift you picked out. When it comes to picking a bridal shower gift, you’ll want to go for something that either pampers the guest of honor, or otherwise speaks to her personal interests and needs (i.e., cooking, entertaining, drinking excellent coffee). Still not sure where to start? Don't fret—I've got you covered with some potential suggestions at various different price points.
Consider gifting her something that will be useful for starting this new exciting chapter of her life such as cookware essentials, or a practical set of bath towels. Perhaps the bride is need of a more spacious carry-on bag for her honeymoon because she's planning on packing literally every outfit in her closet. You could even go with a gift that will benefit both the bride and the groom such as a helpful speed blender. All that matters is that your present is one that comes from heart.

When it comes to bridal shower gifts, there are lots of options to suit every budget and circumstance. The first and simplest option is to check the couple’s wedding registry—anything from there is fair game. Often, the popular option for the bridal shower is to go with the smaller, more modestly priced items from the registry (think charcuterie boards, bakeware, home goods, etc.), and save the larger items for the wedding (hello, pretty stand mixer!). Of course, that’s not always the most personal route, so if you happen to be close with the bride, feel free to branch out within your budget and preferences—but just know that, when it comes to events with registries, you don’t need to feel pressured to get creative with your gift.
Sometimes, bridal showers will be themed, and in that case, you’ll likely want to bring a gift that fits. Think cute tea towels or a tea set for a tea party shower, or maybe a fancy bottle of bubbly or some flutes for a Champagne-themed bash. If you’re thinking of gifting lingerie or something else for the bedroom, and the shower is not specifically themed for those gifts, it might be better to save it for the bachelorette party. And remember, you can always check with the shower’s hostess if you’re unsure about a theme or any gift-giving tips to keep in mind.
How I Chose the Best Bridal Shower Gifts
I chose our list of bridal shower gifts based as seasoned bridal shower gift givers and from personal experience with the items and brands. I also wanted to include picks from a well-rounded range of categories, from housewares for the happy couple, to jewelry and little self-care luxuries for the busy bride, and from a wide range of price points for every budget (so regardless of your relationship to the bride, you can find something here). At times I kept things super practical, like with the Deweisn Tri-Fold Vanity Mirror or Hello Fresh gift card; other times, I suggested a pricey candle or clothing item that you know your friend would never splurge on herself. In all instances, we wanted to be thoughtful about the bride’s needs *and* wants.
Of course, we paid attention to reviews, and tried to make sure the bride would have a smooth return experience if need be, although in some cases, like personalized items, it’s not possible. We also made sure the quality, function and look of every item was up to par for what our bride-to-be deserves.
