Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful line at Walmart has earned a reputation for doing what few kitchen appliances can: looking so chic you don’t mind having them take up valuable counterspace, and without the steep price tag of other high-end brands. The collection, which includes everything from air fryers to stand mixers, leans hard into soft matte finishes (sage green, black sesame, icing white) with brass-inspired hardware and touch-activated displays that disappear when not in use. But the real question is: Do they perform as well as they photograph?

To find out, I recruited a handful of PureWow staffers—myself included—to put the brand’s most popular appliances to the test. The verdict? While nearly every item had something to love, three standouts earned especially high praise: the Digital Air Fry Toaster Oven (with ten preset functions and infrared technology that preheats 80 percent faster than a conventional oven), the Ice Cream Maker with Touch-Activated Display (which churns out smooth, creamy scoops in under 30 minutes), and the 10-in-1 Electric Multi-Cooker (a true do-it-all machine that sautés, steams, braises and even makes rice—while looking downright gorgeous in sage green). Ahead, the full report on what’s worth adding to your own countertop lineup.

How We Tested the Best Beautiful by Drew Kitchen Items

To put Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful kitchen line to the test, each staffer was assigned a specific item to use in their own kitchen over the course of several weeks—whether that meant air frying late-night snacks, slow cooking soup on a Sunday, or whipping up homemade ice cream on a random Tuesday. Our testers filled out a detailed feedback form for each product, rating it across five key categories: value, ease of use, quality, aesthetic and functionality (with a total possible score of 100). We also asked testers to share what they specifically loved—and where the appliance fell short—using their own words and real-life examples.

To that end, while we focused on first-person testing to ensure honest, hands-on reviews, we also cross-referenced each product’s customer ratings on Walmart to see how our experiences stacked up against broader feedback. Ultimately, rankings were determined by a combination of each appliance’s scores and standout features that made it feel genuinely worth the counter space.
