In fact, the celebrations have already begun in the Windy City. The annual river dyeing saw reps from the Journeymen Plumbers’ Local Union 130 carrying out the more than 60-year-old tradition of dumping roughly 100 pounds of eco-friendly green dye into the Chicago River on March 11. On March 12, more than 75,000 turned out to see the South Side Irish Parade. And the fun's not over yet!
